の初めの数年を思い出す。私は香港で働いていた。そして、ほかのアルコホックと友だちになった。レイ…彼は片足しかなかったが、義足と松葉杖を使ってた。私たちは、彼の飼っていた犬（お下がりの警察犬）と一緒に近所の公園に散歩に行った。レイは、犬のリードを投げては取りに行かせた…彼は2，3回投げた…3回目に投げたとき、彼は強く投げ過ぎた…リードは木に引っかかってしまった。それで私たちは、ちょっと笑った…彼は松葉杖を使ってリードを外そうとした…近くまで行ったが届かなかった…それからレイは、松葉杖を使ってリードを叩き外そうと決めた、松葉杖が木に引っかかってしまった！私たち二人は…草むらに座って泣き笑いした…人々は私たちを見て、私たちは、気が狂っているが、酔っぱらっていると思ったに違いない…私たちは、そこに座って泣き、そして大笑いした。結局のところ、私が彼の肩に乗って、松葉杖とリードを取り外した…二人のアルコホックスが、互いに助け合った…

Hi all, My name is Gary and I am an alcoholic thanks Dominic for your topic, and congratulations on your anniversary.
Yes I truly believe that rule 62 is an important principle in my life. Through my working career, I have had to deal with many disasters (Im a project manager) and people have been amazed that I can just deal with the issue without screaming at people. Some doubted whether I took my work seriously. I did... only I needed to prioritise on my sobriety.
Regarding laughter.. I remember in my early years in sobriety I was working in Hong Kong, and I made friends with another alky, Ray.. who only had one leg, but had a prosthetic, and a crutch. We went for a walk with his dog ( a failed police dog) in the local park. Ray threw the dog's lead to go and fetch it.. He threw it a couple of times... and then on the third go.. he threw too hard.. and the lead got stuck in a tree.. So we laughed a bit... and he used his crutch to try and dislodge the lead... it nearly came... and then Ray decided to try and knock the lead out with the crutch.. The crutch got stuck up in the tree ! The two of us... sat in the grass crying with laughter.... people saw us and must have thought we were crazy or drunk.. we sat there and cried and laughed so hard. In the end, I climbed on his shoulders and retrieved the crutch and the lead...two alkys helping one another..
