感謝でいっぱいの、立ち直ったアルコホーリクのピーターです。
ゲイリー、今日の司会をありがとう。
AAに通うようになってから、自分が朝型の人間で、決まった日課が好きだということに気づきました。
だいたい朝の5時ごろに起きて、コーヒーを淹れて、ストレッチをして、腕立て伏せを1～2回することもあります。それから読書の時間です。iPadを使って、日付や今いる場所、日の出と日の入りの時刻、天気、室温などを記録します。そして「Daily Ponderables（毎日の思索）」という、毎日届くメール形式のリーディング集を読みます。そのあと神さまとお話しします。「おはようございます」「ありがとう」と伝えて、今日、神（彼？彼女？）が自分に用意してくれているものごとに気づけるように、そして神（彼？彼女？）が望んでいることを行動に移せるよう手助けしてくださいとお願いします。
朝7時になると、お気に入りのミーティングに参加するか、冬の間はジュピター（フロリダ州）での午前7時の対面ミーティングに行きます。夏はマサチューセッツ州ポカセットの早朝ミーティングに参加します。
朝、ほとんどの人がまだ眠っている時間に、世界が目覚めていく様子を見ることができます。そしてその素晴らしい移り変わりを目にするとき、私は神とつながっていると感じるのです。

Hello ESHr’s!
I’m Peter, a grateful recovering alcoholic.
Thank you Gary for your lead today.
After coming into the rooms, I learned that I am a morning person and I like routines.
I’m usually up around 0500 or so and I make coffee, stretch, might do a push up or two, then do my readings. Using an iPad, I’ll key in the date, where I’m at, sunrise and sunset, what the weather is, what the thermostats are saying and then I’ll read the Daily Ponderables, which are a collection of daily readings all in an email that comes daily. I talk with God then, saying good morning, thank You and asking that I be helped to recognize what He (She?) has in store for me today and help me to accomplish what He (She?) would like me to do.
At 0700, I go on a great meeting or I’ll get to a 7am live meeting in Jupiter (winter) or an early one in Pocassett, MA in the summer.
In the morning when most are asleep, I can see the world awaken and I feel connected to God seeing this amazing transition.
