Thank you, Carl. The promises…unsure as to when I consciously began to realize they were happening. The words painstaking and work were/are requirements for sure for the promises to unfold…a combined effort with my higher power. I do have some regret for past behavior or lack of it, so must reconcile to powerlessness there. As many alcoholics see themselves “a work in progress,” I readily identify with that. Progress, not perfection. Life today is good.
