ハイヤーパワー（HP=ハイヤーパワー）神、または高次の力、自分を超えた大きな力。意志と生き方をゆだねる対象。
に自分の性格の欠点を取り除いてもらう準備が完全に整ったのは、それらの欠点が、私や私の周りの人々に与えるダメージの現実に、私が降伏したからです。
残念ながら、私はまだ完全な降伏の状態で生きることができませんし、今後もそうなれるかどうかはわかりません。
そこで、One day at a time（今日一日）の出番です。今日の私は完全に準備ができているのだろうか？私は日課として「第七ステップの祈り」を唱え、自分が人の役に立つための邪魔する欠点を取り除いてもらうよう、自分に言い聞かせています。毎日この祈りを捧げることで、その日、自分のエゴがどんな問題を引き起こしていたとしても、できる限りの準備をすることができるのです。

Hi everyone, my name is Laura and I am an alcoholic. For me, being entirely ready to do anything is about surrendering to reality, not always my favorite thing to do. When I am entirely ready to have my higher power remove my character defects, it is because I have surrendered to the reality of the damage they do to me and the people around me.
Unfortunately, I am not yet capable of living in a state of complete surrender and I don't know if I ever will be.
This is where One day at a time comes in. Am I entirely ready today? I say the Seventh Step prayer as part of my daily routine to remind myself that I am asking for the defects which stand in the way of my usefulness to others to be removed. Saying that prayer every day helps me be as entirely ready as I can be, given whatever trouble my ego might be causing me that day.
