In my 4th year of sobriety, Paul came into my life. No one in my family or at my home group thought that he was a good idea. I also doubted myself but only for a few days. I would get on my knees in the morning and ask God if this relationship was His will, to bless it or block it. In a week or so, I intuitively knew that indeed this was meant to be.We were married after a few months and had 30+ years together. A "wonderful/awful mix" of a real life. Thank God I followed His will!
