Sooner than you can say Rumplestitskin, Skinny Howie was living in Arkansas Charlie and his wife's home. About two months later, Arkansas Charlie's wife left him. Charlie was back to drinking. Skinny Howie? He was drinking, too. I don't know if either individual ever found sobriety again. The lesson I learned: My sobriety is the most important fact in my life; I must guard it every hour of each day. And that's the way it works for me.
