の一部をトピックとして選びました。一度か二度、読んだときに、その部分を聴くのが好きだったからではなく、ついに、心の奥底まで、私のことを分かってくれるグループに出会ったからです。

のここを、初めて聴いて、私はショックでした。みんなを騙していると思いました。こんなことをして、欲しいものを手に入れている人なんて、他にはいませんでした。
もちろん、しばらくすると、私だけではないことに気づきました。「いい人」になりたがる人は、たくさんいるのです。
神に感謝します。私の欠点は、減ってきました。何も、無理にふるまわなくていいのです。私は、ただ、神の子でいられるのです。

Dear ESH Thanks Dorothy for leading us this week. My name is Susan and I have recovered from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body. God separated me from alcohol by removing the mental obsession - that a drink would make anything better.
The portion of the BB that I chose is not because I liked hearing it the first or second time it was read, but because I finally found a group that knew me at soul depth.
Pg. 61..."Our actor may sometimes be quite virtuous. He may be kind, considerate, patient, generous; even modest and self-sacrificing."
I was caught the first time I heard those portions of the Big Book. I thought I was fooling everyone and there was no one else that used this method to get what they wanted.
Of course, as the years have gone by, I am once again not alone. There are many that admit to having the 'good guy' motive.
Thank God that has lessened a great deal and I don't have to play anything...I can just be God's child.
