So many actions are accomplished even without consciously thinking about it since step 3 is operative every day. In sobriety I haven’t encountered many situations that were previously baffling or maybe they weren’t recognized as such. Fairly certain when I was drinking, I just powered on through difficult/baffling situations with no regard to outcome.
Recently, new situations have popped up. A few weeks ago had a health situation that was momentarily scary, but found a satisfactory solution. A situation occurred yesterday about five hours after I left home for a six day travel into Oregon. Checking into the first lodging for our trip, I opened my wallet to give my credit card to the clerk…no credit card! I was momentarily flummoxed. What now? Thankfully I had a second card. Later that day, I called customer service to discuss how to proceed given the circumstance. I am fairly certain the card is home in a jacket pocket or in my car. Pleasant discussion with David in customer service and putting a lock on the card. More will be revealed when arrive home next week. (^^
For quite sometime I have trusted that whatever “comes down the road” will be met in some way that will provide resolution. Keep the faith. Stay well everyone. Peace…
