最初にAAにつながったのは1994年にさかのぼります。その時私に運ばれたメッセージは、

の初めの164ページのAA

でした。残念ながら、私には聞く意志がありませんでした。
2018年まで早送りして、その時私に運ばれてきたメッセージは、もはや

は必要ではないというものでした。なぜなら

は古くて時代遅れであり、もっと他の、今日的な意味を帯びている文献が、今は使われているからです。今は、AAには二つの種類のグループがあると、言われ続けています。敗者と勝者です。敗者とは誰を指すのか、他の苦しんでいるアルコホリックを敗者だと決めつけるための道具をどこで手に入れれば良いのかについては、私は答えを持ちません。ドライドランクたちの嘲笑う声が、現在のAA

の最初の164ページを、正確に書かれてある通りに実践しました。そうすることで私は見かけ上は、精神と身体の絶望的な状態から癒されました。頭から強迫観念が消え、私の人生のほとんどの領域に正気が戻ってきました。

Hello ESH,
I'm Heather an alcoholic. Thank you Mike for your service to the group and topic lead.
When I first entered AA back in 1994, the message that was carried to me was the AA program from the first 164 pages of the BB. Unfortunately, I wasn't willing to listen.
Fast forward to 2018 and the message carried to me is that the BB is no longer needed because its old and outdated and there other, more relevant literature available now. I'm still being told there are 2 kinds of groups in AA, the losers and the winners. I haven't been able to get an answer on who the losers are and where do I get the tools to judge another suffering alcoholic as a loser - dry drunk ridiculosity is running the program now.
There is no AA message being carried anymore. The meetings are dying and the BB has been replaced by other program books or slogans. At one point, I had to shut off the meeting chatter that didn't fall inline with the first 164 pages of the BB. It came to a point where I left the AA fellowship because it was causing more harm than good as meetings no longer revolved around the AA program and sponsors no longer wanted to work directly from the BB.
I followed the first 164 pages exactly as written and I was healed from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body, the obsession was obliterated from my brain and sanity has returned to most areas of my life.
