こんにちは…感謝の気持ちを持ったアルコホックのパムです。ドミニク、23年のバースデーおめでとうございます。そして、今週の私たちのミーティングはをリードしてくれ、ありがとうございます。
ソブライティ神様・ハイヤーパワーとつながり、お酒を飲まない生活
は当時、破滅的と思われた数々の過去の出来事を、振り返るのに適しています…ゴルフコースに迷い込んだり、眠り込んでしまったり、そしてスプリンクラーが、作動して目を覚ましたりしたことです。私たちには家の中で、禁煙というルールがありました。家の中で禁煙というルールは、タバコを吸うために玄関ポーチまで出ていくことを余儀なくされました。たくさん踏み外し、転び、麻痺を起こし始めました。身体は反応しないが、頭の中は完全に覚醒しているように思えました。そして、立ち上がることができるまで、数分間横になっていました。何度か、このような状況のいくつかを、ノンアルコホックの素晴らしい友人たちと話したことがあります。彼らの初めの反応は、なんてこった（Oh My God）というものでした。それから、私たちは笑いました。(^^ 現在の家族の笑える瞬間は、〝メガネ探し”です。ほとんど毎日起きるのです。それと一緒に、ウオーキンググループで考えていることは〝車のキイロックをしたことはないか？”ということです。そして、あまりに遠すぎて、エンジンスターターが作動できないので、笑いながら歩いて戻ってきます。ただ人間であるがために、他の人たちは違うかもしれないが、私は愚かでユーモラスな状況に自分自身を置く機会が、たっぷりと与えられています。心の中の軽い楽しみでさえ、消そうとした私の試みは、いつもうまくいくとは限りません。
人生の質は…水面に浮かぶ木の葉のように振る舞うことです。ありがとう、私の

Good afternoon….I’m Pam, a grateful alcoholic. Congratulations to you Dominic on birthday 23 and for leading our meeting this week. Sobriety lends itself to reflect on those past occasions that seemed devastating at the time…wandering out onto the golf course, falling asleep, and awakening when sprinklers came on. We had a rule of no smoking in the house. The rule necessitated stepping out onto the front porch to smoke. Many the time I overstepped, fell, and paralysis set in. Mind seemed fully alert though body would not respond, and lay motionless for a few minuets until able to stand. The times I’ve related some of these situations to non alcoholic good friends their initial reaction is OMG and then we laugh. (^^ A present household laughable moments is “hunt for the glasses,” which occurs most days. With the walking group and thinking, “Did I lock the car?” And being too far away for the fob to remedy. Laugh and walk back. Merely being human provides ample opportunity to put self in situations I find silly and humorous, though others may not. My attempts to muffle even mild amusement are not always successful.
Quality of life…to behave like a leaf floating on the surface. Thank you to my Higher Power that has provided every aspect for my good fortune…to be alive and experience life today. Peace…
