またこのミーティングに参加できて光栄です。トニー、ミーティングを始めてくれてありがとう。そして、35周年のAAバースデー、おめでとう！あなたが回復していることをとても嬉しく思います。
あなたの分かち合いを聞いて、いくつかのことを思い出しましたが、ひとつに絞って話します。それは『過去の栄光に安住する』という危険性です。数年前にその意味を調べたことを覚えています … 私はそれが怠けることを意味していると感じていました。しかし、その時見つけた定義はこうでした：『自分の成果に満足し、それ以上何もしようとしないこと』。

は『自分の』手柄ではないという事実を受け入れていますが、それでも私がすべき足元の仕事、つまり努力は残っています ;-)。そして、もっと良い仕事ができると分かっています。その方向へ進むための後押しをありがとう。
近頃、もっとミーティングに参加した方がいいかもと思っています。これから数ヶ月間旅行する予定があり、ルート66やオザーク地方、バージニアでAAを探索するつもりです。そして、パソコンを持って行くので、オンラインミーティングにももう少し参加してみようかと思っています。
素晴らしいリマインダーを再度ありがとう…そして、自分ではできなかったことをしてくれた神に感謝します。

Hi ESH friends... It's a privilege to be with you for another meeting. Thanks, Tony, for getting us started and a huge congrats on your AAnniversary #35! I'm very glad you're on the mend....
Your sharing brought to mind a couple things but I'll focus on one - the danger of "resting on our laurels". I remember looking up the meaning of that years ago ... I had a sense that it meant getting lazy... but the definition I found was this: to be satisfied with your achievements and not to make an effort to do anything else.
Accepting the fact that sobriety isn't "my" achievement... there's still my footwork to be done - the effort part ;-). And I know I could do a better job of it. Thanks for the nudge in that direction.
I've been thinking that I could do with more meetings lately. We'll be traveling some during the next couple months and my intention is to explore AA on Route 66, in the Ozarks and Virginia. And I'll have my computer with me so I might even dip my toes into online meetings a little more.
Thanks again for the great reminder... And thanks be to God for doing for me what I could not do for myself.
