は私にこう言っています、「神様が代わりに私のやれないことをやってくれている」ってね。だから、これだけの間、ソーバーでいることにプライドは持てないのです。もしかしたらAAにYESと言い続けている驚くべき事実がそうしているのかな・・・自分の人間らしさを受け入れる事、その素晴らしい部分と酷い部分を含めたミックスされた感じを受け入れた事が、謙虚さにつながっていると思うのです。とっくの昔にプライドって言葉を感謝に置き換えたって事なのですよ。

Thanks Chuck for chairing this week!My name is Louise, recovered alcoholic, and my sobriety date is June 30, 1972I believe what the Big Book tells me: "that God is doing for me what I could not do for myself", then I cannot be proud to be sober all these years. Maybe the surprising fact that I keep saying YES to A.A. has something to do with it...I also believe that humility has to do with accepting my humanity, the wonderful/awful mix of it all.A long time ago I exchanged the word pride for gratitude.
