A few years ago after moving to a new town where my son lives, I felt disoriented and lonely. A longtime sponsee of mine arranged for my son to take me to a close by A.A. meeting and present me with my 50th year chip. She found an open meeting (my son is not in A.A.) and it was a wonderful event. After the meeting I asked if anyone could pick me up and bring me to meetings as I don't drive anymore. Two members gave me their phone number and I have been going to the Tuesday 11am meeting ever since. Now, this same sponsee is coming next month and on the first Tuesday in September we will attend that same A.A. meeting at Winner's Club where she asked me to present her with her 33 year chip! Who else but God could orchestrate such a turn of event? What an extraordinary life we all have!! We are so blessed!
