Greetings, all. I just checked to see if the "not organized as such - AA" system works. Ellen's contribution for ESH landed in the right place - ESH is credited and we are officially in the OIAA Finance report for April. Thank you, Ellen. Thank you, all.
Part of the Online AA's budget is, of course, for technology. Yesterday, they had a workshop on safety issues for zoom meetings. Anyone is always welcome to attend. This month I will share the TechSteppers' Introduction from the OIAA website. Some service possibilities are also below - consider joining or show up at one of their regular meetings (also below). Many other positions or tasks are available. Check out aa-intergoup.org, and learn how you can participate in the global AA internet.
The Technology Committee’s primary purpose is to provide, support, maintain, secure, and enhance the essential Information Technology needs of the Intergroup, including the OIAA Website, the OIAA Meeting Directory,the Intergroup, electronic communications (including email, video conferencing, electronic voting and surveys), and file sharing and collaboration.
At the moment we have the need for the following skills:
- Knowledge of WordPress.
- Knowledge of SCSS.
- Knowledge of Cloud Services (Google Workspace).
- Knowledge of Zoom Events management.
- Website copy editing.
The Technology Committee is responsible for the development, administration and maintenance of OIAA’s technologies. The Technology Committee consists of 3 primary service branches: Member Services, Web Services and Cloud Admin and continually strives to serve in accordance with AA principles. Next Meeting
