興味深いトピックの導入ですね、ジョージ！私は、ラジオ版『クリスマス・キャロル』のPBS（放送局）特番を観ました。衣装はなく、ただ俳優たちがラジオで放送しているふりをしているものでした。スクルージ役の俳優は、「回復」という役割を見事に演じ切っていました。そして、タイニー・ティムも完璧に演じられていました。
自分のAAでの回復とこれを比較しようとは思いもしませんでしたが、確かに似通っていますね。
これまでの長いソーバーの年月のほとんどは、「私」と「私のアルコールからの回復」に焦点を当てたものでした。実際、自分自身の変化に気づいたのは最近のことです。

の内外を問わず、他の人々への接し方が変わったことに気づきました。
この新しい自分のことを、なんだか気に入っています！

Interesting lead to our topic, George! I watched a PBS special show of the radio version of The Christmas Carol. No costumes, just the actors pretending they were broadcasting on the radio. The Scrooge actor definitely nailed his roll of "recovery." Tiny Tim was perfectly played.
I never would have thought to compare this to my AA recovery, but yep, it does match.
Most of these many sober years have been about ME and focused on ME and MY recovery from alcohol. It's actually only recently that I've noticed the change in myself - a difference in how I treat all other people, those in and out of the program.
I kinda like this new me!
