に来てくれた新しい仲間、ようこそ。カール、ハッピーバースデー、それと今週のリードと、ミーティングの始まりに考えるきっかけとなるようなトピックをありがとう。どのミーティングを選ぶかは難しいです。私はどれも楽しいし、いくつかの異なる対面ミーティングに行くことで、いろいろな楽しみ方ができます。

の最初の頃、第3章の（飲み方の工夫の部分を）最初から通して聞いたとき、私はそのほとんどを試したことがあり、心を奪われました。第3章のその部分で私は必ず映画『不沈のモリー・ブラウン (The Unsinkable Molly Brown)』の "Belly Up to the Bar (バーで破産する) " という歌を思い出します。
そして第5章では、正直さと3つの適切な考え方を強調しながら、
12のステップ12ステッププログラム、回復のため原理、AAの基本プログラム。
を読み解きました。
そして、AAのプレアンブル（序文）には次のように書かれています。AAのメンバーに必要なのは、酒をやめたいという願いだけである ... 会費も無いし料金を払う必要もない。我々はすでにすでにたくさんの「会費」を支払っている、だからメンバーになって楽しんでください、と私は何度も言われました。だからカール、 この朗読を聞くたびに、私は何度も感動し、そのことを思い出すのです。

Hi..I am Pam, a grateful alcoholic. Congratulations to anyone celebrating any length of time without a drink, and welcome people new to ESH. Carl, happy birthday…and thank you for leading this week with a topic that prompts thinking of meeting’s beginnings. Difficulty comes with making a choice for any particular one. I enjoy them all and going to a few different face to face meetings allows for a variety.
Back tracking to early sobriety when I heard Chapter 3 from the beginning through the methods we have tried, I was enthralled having tried most of them. That part of a chapter 3 invariably reminds me of the song “Belly Up to the Bar” from The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
And Chapter 5 read through the 12 steps all the while stressing honesty and the three pertinent ideas.
And then the AA Preamble that states among other things, the only requirement for AA membership is the desire to stop drinking…no dues or fees. As I was told many times, we have already paid dues aplenty, stick around and enjoy the membership. So Carl, many times I am touched, reminded, when I hear those particular readings every time.
