私の場合、ミーティングで心に響く読み合わせは「（６章の）約束」です。私が最も心に響くのは「かつては私たちを困らせた状況にも、直感的にどう対応したらいいのかがわかるようになる」という箇所です。アクティブに依存症にはまっていた頃、私はどのように機能していたのだろうかと思うことがあります。私は間違いなく混乱していました。神様は私のために、自分ではできなかったことをしてくださいました。ささやかな珠玉の知恵や一言がたくさんあるので、私はミーティングに行き、本を読み、仲間の話を聞くことで、自分の道具箱をいっぱいにしました。
アルコホリックであることに心から感謝しています。それが私にとっての生き方であり、ここにいられて幸せに思います。

Hello, I'm Beth alcoholic. Happy sober birthday to anyone celebrating. Grateful for another 24 hours of sobriety.
For me readings in meetings that touch me is the Promises. Mostly when I hear "we will know how to handle situations which used to baffle us". I sometimes wonder how I even functioned while I was actively in my addiction. I was definitely a mess. God was doing for me what I couldn't do for myself. . There are so many little Gems of wisdom and one liners and it's through going to meetings reading, and listening I filled my tool box to keep going.
I truly am grateful to be an alcoholic, it is a way of life that works for me and I'm happy to be here.
