は私に、自分自身を見つめ、内面で変えられることは何かを考えさせ、自分がこのような人間である原因を他人のせいにするのをやめさせてくれました。「今日、何を変えれば明日の自分がよりよい人間になれるだろうか」と、私は今も自分に問いかけています。今日は、私の22歳の孫娘が私と同じ道を歩んでいるのを見て、なぜそんなにイライラしてしまうのか、どうすれば違う対応ができるかを考えていました。そして思いついたのが「手放すこと」、なるほどですね！こうして、

Good evening, Kitza here and alcoholic and happy to be sober another 24 hours. The life I have today has been totally shaped by AA. It started when I was just a teenager going to Alateen. I thought I would never end up in AA but was I wrong. But the program was still a part of who I was, I just didn't want to listen to that part of my brain. Slowly, a day at a time, the program shaped me into a person who can hold her head high and not worry about what I did or didn't do the last 24 hours. I love my life today and it is only due to the program. So many people have touched my life in AA that have made me look at who I am and where I am going. The program nudged me to look at me and what I can change with in me, to stop pointing fingers at all the reasons I am the way I am. Just what can I change today that would help me be a better person tomorrow. I still ask myself those questions. Today I was thinking what I can do differently so I do get so frustrated with my 22 year old grand daughter who is going down the road I went. Came up with letting go, go figure! So the program continues to shape me if I want it to and if I am willing to listen to my heart and not my head. Have a great evening in wet and windy Alaska.
