1990年9月1日に、神のおかげで酒から切り離されて以来、第10ステップは、私の毎朝の修練になっています。第10ステップに行きつく前に、創造主とともに歩む生涯にわたる旅を始めました。初めから、すぐに始めました。第10ステップは、朝の修練になっている、と言いました。寝る前、夜におこなうことが提案されているのは、知っています。でも、私は、そうしたことはないのです。不正直で、身勝手で、自己中心なことは、分かっています。でも、朝、紙に書きとめるのです。このような生き方で今日一日を過ごせたことを、神に感謝して床に就きます。神に、自分の行動について許しを求めます。そして、その日の行動を正すための従うべき基準を尋ねます。
その日の終わりに、神に自分のことをはっきりさせ、翌日に書かないときより、この行動のおかげで、多くの行動について、立ち止まり、祈り、前に進めることが、分かっています。自分のことに責任が持てることに、感謝しています。それは、神からの
ギフト神様・ハイヤーパワーからの贈り物
です。神の恩寵のおかげで、神がお望みの女性に私はなれます。

Dear ESH
Thanks Margie for filling in for Craig this week and I hope that you are doing better Craig. Welcome to anyone new to ESH and congratulations to those celebrating sobriety!
The 10th step has been a part of my daily morning discipline since I first was separated from alcohol by God on 9/1/90. I didn't wait until I got to the 10th step to start this life long journey with my Creator...I started right from the beginning. I said step 10 is a part of my morning discipline and I know it is suggested that we do it at night before we retire, but I'm one who has never done it that way. I am certainly aware of dishonesty, selfishness, and self-centeredness at the moment, but I put pen to paper in the morning. As I go to sleep thanking God for another day in this way of life, I also ask for forgiveness of myself to God and ask what measures should be taken, if any, to straighten out my past action of the day.
I know that this daily practice helps me to pause, pray and proceed more in my actions than if I wasn't going to have to account for myself later in the day with God and write about it the next morning. I am grateful to be accountable, it is a gift and grace helps me to grow into the woman God would have me be.
