Thanks Nancy for moderating this weeks meeting. My name is Susan and I am an alcoholic, sober since God separated me from alcohol in 9/1/90. Thanks to our newest members. Thank goodness translation devices work so that we can meet with people all over the world. As paraphrased from the Big Book. . . " deep down in every man, woman and child is the fundamental idea of God. " Alcoholism prevented me from having an experience with a loving God. Alcohol, self-centeredness and mental illness blocked me from the Spirit. Everything I understand, every experience I have now has the potential for God to be my guiding force. So every morning I give my life to God so that I can continue to be a useful joyful, grateful member if His family. I would not know I was a child of God and not know how to live, to the best of my ability, were it not for the miracles I've been given and have been able to pass on to others. Blessings, Susan
