精神的にも肉体的にも大変な仕事でしたが、私が顔を出し、役に立ち、正しいことをすることができたのは、皆さんとAAの原理が私に与えてくれた賜物です。私は、リクエストに応じて、平常心で彼にお酒を出すことができました。私は、自分を見失うことなく、自分自身に忠実に（多少は、確実に進歩しているが、完璧ではありませんが）、正しい行動をすることができました。

Dear All, AA saved my life. Thank you,Nancy, for your share and topic. Last week I had to take an emergency flight to California to help my children take care of their dying father, my ex, who is paralyzed and bedridden, after a series of strokes. It was hard work, emotionally and physically, and I could show up, be of service, and do the right thing, because of the gifts you all, and AA's principles, have given me. I even was able to serve him alcohol, upon request, without batting an eye. I could do the right action, without losing myself - being true to myself (somewhat - definite progress, but not perfection). I am tired, and behind on email and topics, not bad. Today, one breath and day at a time - flew back to Boston yesterday, and working at reentry. Be well, all. Be sober and live in today. love, susan
