毎朝目覚めると、私は腹を立てていました。まだ生きているということに腹が立ったのです。生きていることが本当に嫌でした。
AAはすべてを変えてくれました。

Hi, everyone. George, a drunk. Thank you, Suanne, for chairing. Simply, by following AA's suggested steps to the best of my ability is what gave me a life to enjoy and work at. Before AA, I was on a dead-end path, one that led to oblivion and certain early death. Upon awakening each morning, I'd be angry I was still alive. I hated being alive.
Since AA, that has all changed. Now, upon awakening, I say my two-word prayer of "Thank you," and really mean it. Life is meaningful. Life is creativity. Life is welcomed. I am forever grateful to this program and to all folks who follow its path to the best of their abilities. It is they who got me sober and help keep me sober. And that's the way it works for me.
