の方、ようこそ。
今週、ソーバー記念日を迎える皆さん、おめでとうございます。中でも、ジェフさん、２９年のソーバー、おめでとうございます！長年、仲間の模範であり、ともに歩んでこられたことに感謝です。
テーマ 今週のテーマは、人生における大きな「神体験」にまつわる「経験と力と希望」を分かち合いしてください。または、人生や
ソブラエティ神様・ハイヤーパワーとつながり、お酒を飲まない生活
で実現した「ＡＡの約束」を分かち合ってください。
私は、アルコホーリクのドミニクです。はっきり言って、長年にわたってＡＡで、「神体験」という言葉を何度も耳にしてきましたが、人生における神の働きに関するこのような話には、無関心でした。私にとっては、「神体験」は、一時的なもの、その場限りのもの、取るに足らない偶然の体験でしかありません。多くの仲間には、当てはまらないこととは分かっていますが、これが私の体験なのです。
ここ１年、「神体験」をもっと意識するようになった感じがします。神への畏敬の念（神そのものを恐れているのではなく、神とのつながりを失うことを恐れているのです。）について、体験・認識が深まったのです。確かに、「神体験」は、大きな問題となるでしょう。正直なところ、今では、神との関係が人生での最優先となっています。私は、神のもつ神聖さを認めていますし、恥ずかしいことはありません。というのも、「神聖」という言葉は、今、世界の文化では、避けられていて、好まれないからです。
神との関係について、これまでの人生で、多くの強力な働きを経験してきました。最も強力なものは、次の２つです。①１つ目は、１２ステップを実践したときの「霊的目覚め」です。おかげで、私は2001年にソーバーになり、今でもソーバーであり続けています。私の心は、この世界から神の方へと向かったのです。②ソーバー１５年で、一滴も酒を口にしたことのない、妻のパティに出会ったのです。オープンミーティングに一緒に参加して、２人して、くすくす笑っています。パティが一番のソーバーなんですから。このことも、パティに私を出会わせてくれるために、１５年もの間、神の働きのおかげで私が健康な心に戻ったからです。私たち２人は、５月に出会い、１０月に結婚しました。６０台になっていました。神には、すばらしいタイミングとユーモアのセンスがあられます。出会いの最初から、「神がかかった結婚」でしたし、今でもそうです。さらに、神のおかげで、私と妻は、想像だにできなかったくらい、良くなっています。
>１２ステップを経験し始め、神の面前にいて、自分の人生・行動・態度に神の意志をおこなう訓練をしてきました。神は、いつでもここにいて、常に私たちとともにおられることを知りました。私たちの第３ステップで分かるように、私たちは、ただ神の助けを求め、神にゆだねるだけでよいのです。私は、いまだ完全にできるようになったわけではありません。私の理解する神が、ときどき、「神体験」で私に気づきをお与えになると言っているのを、軽くとらえてしまいます。私を

Thanks Jeff for Chairing this week and for this week’s topic. Welcome to anyone new to ESH!
Congratulations to anyone celebrating a sobriety milestone this week. Special congratulations to Jeff on 29 years! And for your example and friendship over the years!
Topic: For this week's topic, please share your ESH with a major God Shot in your life, or if you prefer, you can share about another of the promises that has come true in your life and sobriety.
Dominic recovered alcoholic. To be honest, I’ve heard the term “God Shot” many times over the years in AA and I never really cared for this description of a movement of God in our lives. A God Shot to me sounds temporary, a passing occurrence, a casual sort of take it or leave it experience. I know this is not the case for many, yet this is my experience.
I guess it’s more pronounced to me now, as this past year I’ve grown in experience and appreciation for my reverence of God, my holy fear of God (not being scared of God, yet, being fearful of ever losing my connection with God). That would indeed be a major problem. Honestly, at this point, my relationship with God is the most important priority in my life. I recognize God’s holiness, and am not ashamed of it as “holy” is seemingly a dismissed, unpopular word in the culture at large today.
In my relationship with God I’ve seen many powerful movements in my life, yet the 2 most powerful so far are: 1) My spiritual awakening experience from working the 12 steps that got me sober, kept me sober, and changed my heart from the world and towards God back in 2001. This experience changed me in many ways from the childish, selfish man I used to be. 2) At 15 years sober, I met my now wife Patty, who never has had a drop of alcohol. We often chuckle at open meetings we attend together that she has more sobriety than anyone in the meeting! Again, a pure movement of God, who cleaned me up for 15 years to prepare me for Patty! We met in May and got married in October, in our sixties, God has a great sense of timing and humor. This was a God-match from the first date and has continued to be so. Once again God has changed me and her in ways we could never have imagined for the better!
>From the beginning of my 12 step experiences, I’ve practiced being in God’s presence and pulling down his vision into my life, activities and behavior. I’ve come to know God is always here, always with us, we just need to turn to and rely on him as our 3rd step suggests. I by no means have mastered this in any way, yet for me, I would be shortshrifting my God to say every now and then He gives me a “shot” to get my attention. He has had my attention ever since He showed me the Power He has that was great enough to expel my alcoholism and open my spiritual eyes to see the field of infinite possibilities there are for our lives.
