ミーティング会場に来る前の数年間、セルフヘルプの道を試していました。あらゆる種類の狂気…ローフードダイエット、断食、超越瞑想、強迫的なエアロビクスエクササイズ、骨紛/ビール酵母その他は、アルコールが破壊していた栄養素を入れ替えるために調合し、何を想像する?!?!?! どれもうまく行かなかった…

Hi ESH friends.. Seasons Greetings!!! Thanks so much, Dave, for starting our meeting this week... and for your steadfast service to ESH.
For several years before I got to the rooms I'd tried doing the self-help route. All kinds of craziness.... raw food diet, fasting, transcendental meditation, obsessive aerobic exercise, bone meal/brewers yeast and other concoctions to replace the nutrients the alcohol was destroying. Guess what?!?!?! None of it worked....
It wasn't until I heard the stories of others in recovery... who really got what I was going through, that my life shifted miraculously. And with the guidance from my sober brothers and sisters and my sponsor... and mostly from Divine Intervention which allowed me to accept what you all offered, together.... we've found a new path... a great adventure! My life was a waste before.. and I hope/pray I'm living life to the fullest in sobriety, thanks to all of you!
