親愛なるのメンバーたちへ

私たちの会計担当であるジェニファー・Bは、最近理事会を退任しました。彼女が奉仕していた期間中、ジェニファーは財務委員会の積極的なメンバーであり、副会計担当を務め、その後すぐに理事会から任命されて会計担当となりました。2023年12月にメンバーによって選出された後も、の会計担当として勤務を続けました。この役職において、彼女は献身的な理事として惜しみなく努力し、今後も私たちを導く強固な手続きと健全な財務管理を確立しました。

この移行期間中の継続性を確保するため、現副会計担当のフェリックス・Eは指定簿記係としてそのまま務め、ジェニファーが確立した手続きを維持します。理事会はのすべての財務を監督します。

日曜日に理事会は、皆さんや各グループがに委ねた霊的資金を積極的に管理するための計画を策定するために会合を持ちました。この計画の一環として、理事会はマーキュリー口座の所有権を一時的にテクノロジー担当のマーク・Mに移すことを承認しました。また、アメリア・L（事務局長）とフェリックス・E（副会計担当）に対し、信頼できる会計事務所から専門的支援を受けるための3件の見積もりを取得するよう指示する動議も承認しました。

現在、会計担当として務めていただける候補者を募集しています。会計担当の責務は、会則第4.01(d)項「会計担当」に記載されています。

Thank you for allowing me to serve as your OIAA representative this year...here is my last report for 2025. The ESH Business list is holding nominations now for new trusted servants and I encourage all members to step into service and be part of the spirit of rotation which helps makes AA what it is...we need you.

For those who do not know, OIAA is the Online Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous and services the groups that meet online in all of the different formats not face-to-face...video, email, phone, etc. While groups like ESH are outside the traditional geographic districts, areas and regions that are set up in in-person AA, OIAA has and will continue to serve those of us who want and need to meet and recover in other than in-person.

The OIAA website is https://aa-intergroup.org/ and is a treasure trove of information not the least of which is a directory of meetings going 24/7 in all different formats and types no matter where you are. Give it a try. If you want to know how you can become a part of and give in service here are some ways:

o Zoom Events Crew: runs the OIAA workshops, forums and assemblies Zoom rooms.

The OIAA is seeking a new Treasurer...this is from the OIAA Board:

Dear OIAA Membership,

Our Treasurer, Jennifer B., has recently stepped down from the Board. During her time in service, Jennifer was an active member of the Finance Committee, served as Alternate Treasurer, and soon after accepted the Board appointed role of Treasurer. She continued to serve as OIAA Treasurer when the membership elected her in December of 2023. In this capacity, she worked tirelessly as a dedicated Board officer, establishing strong protocols and sound financial practices that will continue to guide us moving forward.

To ensure continuity during this transition, our current Alternate Treasurer, Felix E., will remain in place as our designated bookkeeper and maintain the procedures Jennifer established. The Board maintains oversight over all OIAA finances.

On Sunday, the Board met to develop a plan for actively managing the spiritual funds you and your groups have entrusted to OIAA. As part of this plan, the Board approved temporarily transferring ownership of the Mercury account to Mark M., Technology Officer. We also approved a motion directing Amelia L., OIAA Secretary, and Felix E., Alternate Treasurer, to obtain three bids from reputable accounting firms to provide professional support.

We are now seeking candidates to serve as Treasurer. The Treasurer’s responsibilities are found in the Bylaws Subsection 4.01(d): Treasurer. https://aa-intergroup.org/documents/oiaa-bylaws/

Eligible candidates should currently be in service with OIAA; however, those not yet serving are welcome to join the Finance Committee to meet this requirement. The Finance Committee meets monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 2:00 – 3:30pm EST.
