今回は短めにします……このテーマに興味はありますが、正直に言うと私は「Plain Language Big Book」をまったく読んだことがありません。
私の中のある部分は、AAの変化、特に文献の変更に抵抗を感じます。しかし、調べもせずに軽蔑するという過ちも犯したくありません。ですので、結局のところ、十分に好奇心が湧いてきてから、（新しい書籍を）ちょっと覗いてみようと思います。
私自身は、

に時折見られる古風な言い回しを楽しむ、古い考えの人間の一人であると認めざるを得ないでしょう。私にとって、それは私たちの素晴らしい解決法の長い歴史を語ってくれているのです。
現実的に言えば、あらゆる物事は変化します。私がこの世に生まれてからのほぼ73年で、世界は大きく変わりました。私たちの文明の歴史を学ぶことで、これまで常に物事はそうであったのだと理解できるでしょう。ただ、変化がより良い方向へと導いてくれることを祈るだけです。
というわけで、PL

Good morning, ESH friends.. I'm grateful to be here for another meeting.
Congrats to Chuck for your example of continuous sobriety - and service to our group. I also celebrate with anyone else noting a milestone.
This will be a short one... I'm intrigued by the topic and admit I haven't explored the Plain Language Big Book at all.
Part of me resists changes in AA, especially our literature. But I also don't want to be guilty of contempt prior to investigation. So, I guess I'm curious enough after all, to take a look.
I admit I'm one of the old fogeys who enjoy the sometimes archaic turns of phrase in our Big Book. For me, it speaks of the lengthy history of our amazing solution.
Realistically, everything changes. Our world has changed tremendously in my nearly 73 years on the planet. Studying the history of our civilization helps me understand this has always been the way of things. I simply pray that the changes lead to a better place!
So... I'll be hunting down a PLBB and see what it's all about. Thanks for bringing it to my attention here, Chuck.
