黙想（瞑想）
私には多くの黙想のやり方があり、その時の時間や、心の平穏やリフレッシュが必要かどうかによって使い分けています。
私が眠りにつくときの黙想（瞑想）は次のようなものです：
神の平安が私の中に満ちます
神の美しさが…
神の癒しが…
神の赦しが…
そしてこれを少しずつ変化させながら繰り返し、眠りにつきます。補足すると、私はシスター・オブ・マーシー（修道会）で二度、それぞれ五年間働いたことがあります。私はユニテリアン（訳註・キリスト教の宗派の一つ）として育ったので、「唯一の神、電話ボックスはたくさん」という言い方をします。この瞑想は、若きマリアが「こういったことを思い巡らし、心に留めていた」だろうことを思いながら考えだしました。
日中の私の黙想は次のようなものです：
（吸う息で）インシャッラー……意味は「もし神が望むなら」
（吐く息で）マシャッラー……意味は「神の素晴らしい創造物たち」
吸う息では、「ここにいます、神よ。あなたの御心は何ですか？」
吐く息では、「神の偉大さは理解を超え、測り知れない。
これらすべては神の創造です」と唱え、その美しさについて瞑想するのです。
これらは瞑想法の一例で、私が心を平穏に整え、心の中心を感じる助けとなり、神を私の頭と心、体の中の静かな部屋に招き入れるものです。このテーマを取り上げてくれたパムに感謝します！！

meditation
i have many meditations, depending on the hour and the need for peaceful centeredness and renewal.
when i am trying to sleep my meditation is:
the peace of god is focused in me
the beauty of god etc
the healing of god etc
the forgiveness of god etc
and i will repeat this with variations until i sleep i will qualify by saying i worked with and for the Sisters of Mercy twice, each stint for five years. i was raised a unitarian so we say "one god, many phonebooths." i came up with this meditation while pondering the young Mary who, "pondered these things and kept them in her heart"
during the day my meditation is:
(inbreath) inshallah .. meaning if god wills it (outbreath) mashallah .... meaning the glorious creations of god with the inbreath it's kinda, "here i am god what is your will?" and with the outbreath "the greatness of god is beyond understanding, beyond measure. all this is god's creation." meditating on beauty.
so these are a few things that help me to become peaceful and centered, and invite god to come in to the meditation room in my head heart and body. thanks pam for his topic!!
