まず何よりも、2026年の主要な「奉仕を任されたしもべ (Trusted Sarvant) 」の役割を引き受けてくださった皆さんに感謝します！これこそが、私たちがAAミーティングとして成長していくためのあり方です。

における「奉仕を任されたしもべ」の役割は、対面のミーティングに比べてはるかに時間的負担が少ないです。特にアシスタントの役割は負担が非常に軽く、基本的には必要なときだけ対応するバックアップのポジションです。多くの場合、1年を通して実際に出番が来ることはほとんどありません。

とはいえ、はメンバーがに参加しようとする意志があってこそ成り立ちます。メッセージを運ぶことは、単にミーティングに出席するだけではなく、他の人のためにミーティングを支え続けることも含まれます。名乗り出る人が少なすぎると、同じ少人数に負担が集中してしまい、それではコミュニティとして健全さを保つことはできません。

これまでの役割を引き受けたことがない方にとって、ここは始めるのにとても良い機会です。アシスタントのポジションは、の運営の仕組みを学びながら関わることができ、意義ある形で恩返しをするための最も取り組みやすい方法です。

現在、特に必要とされている役割は、重要度の高い順に次の通りです。アシスタント・ (実務担当・副)
会計・副
ビジネスミーティング・モデレーター(進行役)・副
リストキーパー・副

は、回復の中で私たちがつながり続け、責任を持ち続けるための大切な要素の一つです。から恩恵を受けているのであれば、それを他の人にも届け続けられるよう支える方法の一つがです。今年、この機会を逃さずにぜひ奉仕に参加してください。

奉仕を任されたしもべ（役割）についてちょっと確認させてください。

ここ数年間、歓迎係とリスト・キーパーのポジションは統合されていました。新しいメンバーにリストを提供するのは「グリーティングレター」に一文か二文加えるだけで済むので、歓迎の一部に含めるのは理にかなっていると思います。

私の経験では、リストのリクエストは年に1〜2回程度です。数か月前に女性メンバーのリストをリクエストする機会があり、少し更新が必要かもしれないと感じました。（男性リストも更新が必要かもしれません）リストには、もはやグループに所属していない名前も含まれています（活動していないだけで、正式に退会したかどうかはリスト管理者だけが知っています）。

ですので、Yuu が最初にリスト・キーパーを申し出たとき、「役割を再び分けるのかな？」と私は思いました。昨日、Yuu がアシスタント・にも立候補したと知り、「つまり2つの役割を兼任するのか？」とも思いました。（Yuu、その熱意に感謝！）

ところで──この役割の状況について、どなたかご存じでしょうか。統合したままにするのか、それとも二つに分けるのか。

かつて私が参加していたグループでは、歓迎係を（一人ではなく）何人か置くことにしたことがあります。これは、（あるいは活動していないメンバー）をに招く簡単な方法だったからです──簡単で、しかもそう頻繁ではない役割ですから。

今回のテーマが「を奨励すること」であることを考えると、同じやり方を検討してもよいかもしれません。

ドロシーの意見に賛成です。また、リスト。キーパーと歓迎係のポジションを引き続き（一人の人に）統合して運用していくべきだと思います。それがうまく機能しています。また、Yuu に2つの役割を担わせるのではなく、アシスタント・の役割に入ってもらい、リスト・キーパーと歓迎係の募集を続けることを提案します。

もしこの意見に異論がある方は、ぜひ分かち合ってください。

私は最初、アシスタント・シップ・リストキーパーに立候補しました。その理由は、グループが存続するために自分に出来そうなことは何か？と考えたからです。

ビジネスの流れを追う中で、グループを存続するために優先的に決める必要があるのは、の役割だと理解しました。（アシスタント・シップ・リストキーパーが必要無いという意味ではありません）

今年のはトニーさんが引き受けてくださいましたが、次回の役割交代の時に、またの成り手がいない状況になるかもしれないと予測しました。それで私は今回、アシスタント・の役割を手伝いながら、仕事を覚えて、次のを引き受けられるようになりたいと考えています。

改めて、アシスタント・に立候補します。アシスタント・シップ・リストキーパーを兼任しても良いですが、もし私の他にその役割を引き受けてくださる方がいたら、喜んでその方に役割を譲りたいと思います。

続けての投稿で失礼します、皆さんのメールを読んで自分の間違いに気がつきました。

グリーターとシップ・リストキーパーは、ここ最近は一人の方がまとめて引き受けていたものを、私がこれは別々の役割だと勘違いをしてシップ・リストキーパーに立候補したために、混乱を招いてしまったようです。グリーターとシップ・リストキーパーを、二つの役割の分けるべきだと提案したつもりはありませんでした。グループの事情をよく理解していなくてごめんなさい。

別の投稿で、例年通りチャックさんがグリーターとシップ・リストキーパーを引き受けてくださるとのことですので（チャックさん、ありがとう！）私のシップ・リストキーパーへの立候補は取り下げたいと思います。

改めて、アシスタント・に立候補しますので、よろしくお願いします。

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who stepped up to fill primary Trusted Servant roles for 2026! This is how we thrive as an AA Meeting.

Trusted Servant roles in ESH require far less time than those in brick-and-mortar meetings. Assistant roles, in particular, are very low-commitment—they are primarily backup positions, stepping in only when needed. In many cases, assistants are rarely called upon over the course of a year.

That said, ESH only works when members are willing to participate in service. Carrying the message isn’t just about attending—it’s also about helping sustain the meeting for others. When too few people step up, the responsibility falls on the same small group, and that’s not how we stay healthy as a community.

If you’ve never taken a service role before, this is a great place to start. Assistant positions are the easiest way to get involved, learn how ESH operates, and give back in a meaningful way.

Our most important current needs, in order, are:
Assistant Secretary
Assistant Treasurer
Assistant Business Meeting Moderator
Assistant List Keeper

Service is part of how we stay connected and accountable in recovery. If you’re benefiting from ESH, this is one of the ways to help ensure it’s here for others as well. Don’t miss the opportunity to serve this year!

Hello Biz List...

If I might get a little clarification about some of the trusted servant roles, please?

For the past several years we've had the Greeter and Sponsorship Listkeeper positions combined. Offering the list of sponsors to a new member is just a matter of an additional sentence or two in the "greeting letter" and makes sense to include it in the welcome (imo).

In my experience, sponsor lists may be requested once or twice a year. A few months ago I had occasion to request the women's list and noticed that it might need some refreshing. (The men's list might need some updating, too). There are some names on the list who are no longer part of our group (actively, anyway... the Listkeeper would know if they've left officially).

So when Yuu originally offered to be Sponsorship Listkeeper, I wondered if we're separating those roles again? When I saw yesterday that he's also offered to serve as Assistant Secretary I wondered if that means he'll hold 2 positions? (Thanks for your enthusiasm, Yuu)!!!

Anyway - does anyone know the status of those roles - keeping them together, or making them into two?

I was in a group once that decided to create more than one greeter position because it was such an easy way to invite newcomers (or inactive members) into service - easy and not frequent.

We might consider the same strategy, as encouraging service is the topic of the season.

All members of ESH are invited to greet every newcomer as they join.

I think expanding the trusted servant roles and numbers might ultimately make it even more difficult to fill the positions.

Good Morning ESH Business Members:

I agree with Dorothy's assessment and that we should continue to consolidate the Sponsorship List Keeper and Greeter positions. That has worked well. Also, instead of having Yuu take on 2 roles, I suggest we plug him into Assistant Secretary role and continue to recruit for the Sponsorship List Keeper & Greeter position.

Please share if anyone disagrees with this assertion.

I agree with Dorothy’s and Dominic’s opinions.

At first, I volunteered for the Assistant Sponsorship List Keeper position. The reason was that I asked myself what I could do to help the ESH group continue to exist.

As I followed the flow of business, I understood that the role that needs to be prioritized to ensure the continuation of the ESH group is the Secretary position. (This does not mean that the Assistant Sponsorship List Keeper is unnecessary.)

This year, Tony has kindly taken on the Secretary role, but I anticipated that at the next rotation there might again be no one willing to serve as Secretary. So this time, I would like to assist as Assistant Secretary, learn the work, and be ready to take on the Secretary role in the future.

Once again, I volunteer for the Assistant Secretary position. I am happy to also serve as Assistant Sponsorship List Keeper, but if someone else is willing to take on that role, I would gladly hand it over to them.

Apologies for posting again, but after reading everyone’s emails, I realized my mistake.

Recently, the Greeter and Sponsorship List Keeper roles have been handled together by one person. I mistakenly thought they were separate roles and volunteered for Sponsorship List Keeper, which seems to have caused some confusion. I did not intend to suggest that the Greeter and Sponsorship List Keeper roles should be split into two. I apologize for not fully understanding the group’s situation.

In another post, I understand that, as usual, Chuck will be taking on both the Greeter and Sponsorship List Keeper roles (thank you, Chuck!). Therefore, I would like to withdraw my volunteering for Sponsorship List Keeper.

I would like to reaffirm my volunteering for the Assistant Secretary position. Thank you for your consideration.
