を読むZOOMのミーティングがあります。そのミーティングの名前は 「Il y a une solution」 です。（フランス語が苦手な方のために言うと、「There is a solution（解決はある）」という意味です）
このミーティングは、2019年に私が始めました。セントローレンス川南岸にあるLotbinière（ロトビニエール）という村に引っ越した時、その地域にはAAのミーティングが一つもありませんでした。最初は、村役場の借りた部屋で行う対面式のミーティングとして始めました。その後、パンデミックによってZOOMで行うオンラインのミーティングになりました。そして今でも続いています。私は引っ越してモントリオールに戻りましたが、そのミーティングは今も続いています。

を持たずに参加したい場合は、読みあわせを注意深く聞く必要があります。今日のミーティングは、先週の続きから読み始めます。『私たち不可知論者は（We Agnostics）』の章の (フランス語版) 52ページ、「À notre grand soulagement…」という段落からです。英語原文では46ページで、その段落は “Much to our relief…” という言葉で始まります。（※日本語版p68「それに、他の人たちが信じる神のことは考えなくてよいのだとわかって、とてもありがたかった。」） 申し訳ありませんが、同時通訳を提供することはできません。(^^

Thank you for the topic, Suanne. I'm an alcoholic and my name is Robert. The topic couldn't be more appropriate; today is Monday and every Monday at 8:00 PM EST there's a ZOOM discussion meeting on the Big Book in French called /Il y a une solution/ (that's "There is a solution" for the French impaired:-))
It's a meeting I started in 2019 when I moved to a village called Lotbinière on the South shore of the St. Lawrence River and where there were NO meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous. At first it was a face to face meeting in a rented room at the village town hall. Then with the Pandemic it became a virtual meeting on ZOOM. And it still exists, though I've moved back to Montreal.
We read the first 186 pages of the Big Book [164 pages in English] a few pages at a time and we each of us share on the meaning for us individually of what we just read. The meeting ends at 8:50 PM. If any of you speaks French and wants to attend, the ZOOM number is: 856 0913 9517 and the password is: solution. If you don't have a French version of the Big Book and you want to participate, you'll have to listen very attentively when we read. Today we'll start reading where we stopped last week, on page 52 at the paragraph which starts with "À notre grand soulagement..." in the chapter We Agnostics. In the original English that's on page 46 and the paragraph begins with the words "Much to our relief..." I'm sorry but we can't provide simultaneous interpretation (^^
If the idea of such meeting sounds appealing to you, you could start one in English in your town. I got the idea from a face to face Big Book discussion meeting in English called /There is a solution/ I used to attend before I moved from Montreal. It ran the same way we run this meeting -- reading from the Doctor's Opinion to page 164. Try that, it's good to read the Big Book with others and listen to their understanding of the passage read. Just a suggestion.
