の）旅路の次なる指示を「聞く」準備が出来たような時に、私たちの

には、ページから飛び出してくる「宝石」がたくさんあります。私たちの地元の

の勉強会では、現在、本の後半のストーリーを読んでいます。私は大抵、読まれる内容のほとんどに共感することができませんが、「どの」ストーリーにも必ず、ページから飛び出して私の注意を引く一節や考えがあります ー ほとんどの場合私は文字通り、自分の顔が
ハイヤーパワー（HP=ハイヤーパワー）神、または高次の力、自分を超えた大きな力。意志と生き方をゆだねる対象。
の手によって捉えられる感覚を感じます！ ー そして、時間の経過とともに、これこそが私が注意を払う必要があるもの ... 毎日定期的に、オープンに受け入れる準備をする必要があるもの ... だという認識に至りました。

を出来なかった多くの年月を通じて私によく役立ったのは、85ページ (日本語版 122ページ) の「霊的な行動の
プログラム12ステッププログラム、回復のため原理、AAの基本プログラム。
を中止し、自分の力で良くなったと思うのは簡単だ。だがそれは問題が起こるほうへ一直線に向かっていることである。アルコールは巧妙な敵だ。私たちの

は治ったのではない。霊的な状態をきちんと維持するという条件で、毎日執行を猶予されているだけなのである。だから毎日、私たちは心に描く神の意志を、自分のどんな行動にも実践していかなければならない。」という箇所です。
... 私たちの霊的な状態の維持に依存した日々の猶予。与えられるものが何もない日々には、良いことも悪いことも... 私は自分が経験していることを通して、私のハートと心を導き強化してくれる、自分なりに理解する神への信仰を持ち続けていました。（霊的な状態を）維持する具体的な方法は日々異なりますが、私と
ハイヤーパワー（HP=ハイヤーパワー）神、または高次の力、自分を超えた大きな力。意志と生き方をゆだねる対象。
との間のチャネルは決して遮られませんでした。何も言葉が無い時も多かったです。多くの場合、静かで落ち着いていることが必要なものを受け取るための行動であり、霊的に健全な状態を維持するために必要な行動となりました。
今では物理的、精神的、感情的な意味でより積極的に ... ミーティングや
サービスAAの奉仕活動
、他の仲間と働くことに 参加できるようになりました。それらのすべてが、霊的な状態を維持することと密接に結びついています。それは充実した生き方です。だから私は ... 感謝しています。

Good morning - my name is Ellen and I am an alcoholic. I am very grateful to be sober and alive, today.
There are so many 'nuggets' in our BB that have jumped off the page, not only when I was new in the program and thirsty for sobriety, but continually over the years as I needed to be reminded or was ready to 'hear' further direction in my journey. In our local BB study, we are currently reading the stories in the last half of the book. I typically cannot relate to most of what is read, but in EVERY story there is a sentence or a thought that invariably hops off the page and grabs my attention - I can almost literally feel my face being grabbed by the hand of my Higher Power! - and over time I have come to the awareness that this is what I need to pay attention to... daily, regularly, be open and ready to receive.
Part of the foundation that was built early on and that has served me well throughout my sobriety and particularly during those many years that I was not capable of attendance at meetings and service in the fellowship is found on page 85, "It is easy to let up on the spiritual program of action and rest on our laurels. We are headed for trouble if we do, for alcohol is a subtle foe. We are not cured of alcoholism. What we really have is a daily reprieve contingent on the maintenance of our spiritual condition. Every day is a day when we must carry the vision of God’s will into all of our activities."
...a daily reprieve contingent on the maintenance of our spiritual condition. On those days when I had nothing to give, good or bad... I had faith that the God-of-my-nderstanding would guide and strengthen my heart and mind through whatever it was that I was going through. The specifics of that maintenance varies day to day, but the channel to and from my Higher Power has never been blocked. Many times, the words were not there. Many times, being quiet and still to receive what is needed at any given time IS the action required to maintain a healthy spiritual condition.
Now that I am able to participate in more physical, mental, and emotional ways... meetings, service, working with others... all are intertwined with maintaining that spiritual condition. It is a full way of life. And, for that... I am grateful.
