ESHExperience, Strength, and Hope - 経験と力と希望グループ
グループの、回復はした（recovered）けれど、治った（cured）わけではないメンバーです。ドロシー、司会をありがとう。そしてシェアしてくださる皆さんにも感謝します。
これは、私がAAに来た初期の頃、とてもユーモラスだと感じた話です。実際には私自身の話ではありません。他の仲間たちに起きたことなので、本来なら私が語る立場ではないのですが、ここで紹介します。
そのグループの
セクレタリAAグループの実務担当者
ー（実務担当者）が掲示板に、ウェインさんが亡くなったこと、そしてその葬儀が○月○日に行われることを書き込んでいました。彼は以前から健康状態があまり良くなかったので、それほど大きな驚きではありませんでした。私たちの午前7時30分のミーティングに通っていた仲間の何人かが、その葬儀に参列しました。
その1週間ほど後のある土曜日、男性ミーティングと女性ミーティングが予定されていました（それぞれ別の部屋で行われます）。コーヒーを取りに行くには、男性ミーティングの部屋を通らなければなりませんでした。私はそこを通り抜けようとしたのですが、驚きと信じられない気持ちでいっぱいになりました。なんと、その男性ミーティングには（亡くなったはずの）ウェインさんが座っていたのです。
私は急いで女性ミーティングの部屋に戻り、みんなにこう告げました。「ウェインは生きているよ！」
午前7時30分のミーティングの仲間たちは、ウェインという名前の別人に（勘違いで）お悔やみを伝えに行っていたのでした。そして結局私たちは、亡くなったウェインとは誰で、一体誰のお葬式に参列したのか、最後まで分からずじまいでした。
しばらくしてから、私たちは生きているウェイン本人にその話をしました。彼も確か笑ってくれたと思います……少なくとも私は大笑いしました！
これが、今週の私のAA的ユーモアです。自分のことをそんなに深刻に考えすぎないこと――そして、ついでに言えば、他の人のこともあまり深刻に考えすぎないことですね！

Dear ESH'ers:
Good morning, my name is Susan and I am a recovered, not cured, member of AA and ESH. Thanks for the lead Dorothy and to those that share.
This is a story that I certainly found humor in during my early years of AA. It is not really mine to tell, because it happened to other members, but here it is:
The secretary for the group had posted on the bulletin board that Wayne _ had passed and that his funeral was on ______. It was not a great surprise as he had not been in good health. Several members of our 7:30 am meeting went to the funeral.
A week or so later on a Saturday there was a scheduled men's meeting and a women's meeting (in separate rooms). To get to the coffee you had to go through the men's meeting. I did so and much to my shock and amazement Wayne _ was sitting in the men's meeting.
I scurried back to the women's meeting and announced that Wayne was alive!
The members of the 7:30am group had gone and paid respects to someone named Wayne and we never found out who was buried.
Some time later we told the alive Wayne and I think he laughed...I know I did!
That's my AA humor for the week...don't take yourself so seriously - or anyone else for that matter!
