こんにちは。感謝でいっぱいのアルコホーリクのパムです。今週、の節目（バースデー）を迎える皆さん、おめでとうございます。そして、に新しく参加された皆さん、ようこそ。

ローリー、長年を続けている人たちに向けた今回のテーマを取り上げてくれてありがとう……とはいえ、長いも「今日一日」を積み重ねてきたものなのですよね。

これまでの皆さんのシェアを本当に感謝しながら読んでいます……ミーティングでどんな状況を経験し、それぞれの状況にどう対処したのか、多くの人が話してくれています。それらを読んで、私自身がさまざまなビジネスミーティングや対面でのミーティングに触れてきた経験は、ごく限られたものだったのだとはっきり分かりました。

ミーティングに初めて参加した人がいるときは、必ず声をかけるようにしています。女性の場合は、ミーティング中に回ってくる電話番号リストに私の電話番号が載っていることも伝えます。私はたいてい、ミーティングが終わった後に少し片付けを手伝い、帰る前に残っておしゃべりするようにしています。

の長さにかかわらず、私たちは誰もが、たった一杯の酒で奈落の底に戻ってしまう可能性があります。ですから私は、いつものの案内や読み上げを中断させないように、ミーティングには時間どおりに来ることを心がけています。

ときどき、自分がビギナーのように感じることがあります。そんなときは、の第5章に立ち返るようにしています。

Hello. I’m Pam, a grateful alcoholic. Congratulations to all the sobriety celebrants, and welcome to people new to ESH.

Thank you, Laurie, for the topic addressed to people who have a fairly long length of sobriety… all the while, it happened one day at a time.

I really appreciate the shares so far… how many of us have experienced situations in meetings and how those situations were handled. After reading them, it’s clear to me that my exposure to varied business meetings and some face-to-face meetings has been limited.

When someone is new to a meeting, I make it a point to say hello, and if female, point out my phone number is on the phone list that circulated during the meeting. I usually help clean up a bit after the meeting and stick around to chat before leaving.

Regardless of length of sobriety, we are each one drink away from the abyss. I do make it a point to be on time to meetings to not disrupt the usual secretary directives and the readings.

At times I feel like a beginner, and when that happens it sends me to the Big Book and chapter 5.

So, on that note I will say adieu for now. Thank you, Laurie, for leading us this week. Stay well, everyone.
